During my recent transit in Bad Fallingbostel, I stayed at Haus Am Walde. The location of this hotel proved to be extremely convenient as it is the nearest airport, Hannover Airport, was only 46 km away. This made my journey smooth and hassle-free, allowing me to easily catch my flight.

The so-called manager was hardly present during my stay, leaving guests to fend for themselves.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming riverside hotel. The room had a great view of the backyard and river, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The town and surrounding parks were lovely, perfect for a leisurely stroll. I also highly recommend the nearby family-owned creek restaurant, where the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

Loved the abundance of activities nearby, like hiking, biking, and horse riding. The mini golf next door was a real treat, like a hole-in-one extravaganza. Cons: Too bad I didn't enjoy the free WiFi, since it seemed to have gone into hiding. WiFi: Where art thou?

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with crispy bread rolls and luxurious coffee that had my wife begging for more. The location is exceptional, just a short walk from the town center with ample parking. The hotel grounds lead to a stunning boating river where you can rent a boat. The cleanliness of the hotel, rooms, and bathrooms is impeccable. The staff should be proud of their efforts. Can't wait for the future spa and pool additions!

The boathouse was also a hit, where we enjoyed a relaxing boat ride on the nearby lake. The kids couldn't get enough of these activities!
